Overview

Tiu Kelep Waterfall is a stratified 42 meters high waterfall. At certain moments, the water droplets shows a rainbow at the end of the waterfall. We will do a so trekking for around 30-45 minutes to reach this location which will pass through a refreshing river. This activity is suitable for those of you who want an unforgettable experience right in the heart of mother nature.

The walk to Tiu Kelep was already a treat—lush greenery, the sound of rushing water getting louder as we got closer. When we finally arrived, the waterfall was massive and powerful, sending cool mist into the air. We took a few moments just to stand there and feel the spray. Lunch afterward with a view of the rice fields was the perfect way to wind down.

I’ve seen photos of Tiu Kelep, but nothing compares to being there in person. The trek had a few stairs and narrow paths, but it wasn’t too hard. The water was ice-cold and refreshing, just what you need after walking in the tropical heat. Our guide then brought us to Mosque Bayan, which gave the trip a nice cultural twist.

The waterfall itself felt like something out of a nature documentary—towering, loud, and beautiful. We got some amazing pictures, but the real magic was just sitting on a rock and watching the water crash down. Lunch with local North Lombok dishes afterward was full of flavor and made from fresh ingredients.

This was one of those experiences where you get both adventure and relaxation. The trek in gets your heart pumping, but once you reach the falls, you feel completely calm. The rice field lunch spot was serene, and the view stretched out endlessly.

The best part for me was how untouched it felt. No huge crowds, just the sound of water and nature all around. We even saw some butterflies near the falls, which made it feel even more magical.
