Overview

This package is one of the most interesting trekking to explore more about Lombok. You will visit the Dandaun and Kanji Savanna Hills to see many kind of wild flora and fauna that can improve your knowledge. Experience waking up in the morning to the sound of birds chirping through this trekking!

Itinerary

Check in hotel

Our driver will pick you up at any point within the Lombok Island and drop you off at Tetebatu "Mount Rinjani Climbing Center" to check in to the hotel. The next day, our guide will brief you about the trekking.

Picked up

On the first day, you will be picked up aer breakfast (if you want to do a morning trek) or aer lunch (if you want to do aernoon trek). Our team will drop you off to the entrance gate to start the trek.

Start walking

Start walking for about 3 hours to the campsite. All meals will be prepared during the trip.

Last day

On the last day, our guide will take you to explore the savanna and the jungles to see wild birds and wild flowers.

Walk back

Walk back to the campsite and prepare to return to the village for about 3 hours.

Next destination

Our driver will be waiting for you and will drive you to your next destination in Lombok.

All activities require personal items that are not provided by our company, including: trekking boots, a durable headlamp, warm jacket, hoodie, long and short pants, walking stick (optional), swimsuit (optional), toiletries, and other personal necessities.
Please note that our porters can carry up to 2 kg of personal belongings per person. For additional items, a private porter is available at an extra charge of $30 USD per person per day.

"I’ve been on a lot of short camping trips, but this one felt special because of the scenery. The trail takes you through quiet jungle paths before opening into a wide savanna full of wildflowers. At night, the campsite felt peaceful with just the sound of nature around us. Waking up to the sunrise over the hills made me forget all about the sore legs.

The mix of hiking and camping was just right—not too exhausting but still adventurous. Our guide knew so much about the local plants and even pointed out edible herbs along the way. The wildflowers were in full bloom, and the air smelled so fresh. Sitting by the campfire after dinner was the perfect way to end the day

I loved how this trip felt unhurried. We took time to enjoy the views, take photos, and really connect with the surroundings. The campsite in the savanna was wide open, so at night the stars were incredible. The hike back the next day felt lighter, maybe because I didn’t want to leave.
