Overview

If you want to watch the sunrise from the Pergasingan Hill summit for a longer duration, this travel package is suitable for you! This is a so trekking where you can rrelease the stresses of day-to-day life with the fresh air from the top of the hill. This trip will start from Sembalun Village that rise to 1200 masl to Pergasingan Hill.

Itinerary

Check in hotel

Our driver will pick you up at any point within the Lombok Island and drop you off at Tetebatu "Mount Rinjani Climbing Center" to check in to the hotel. The next day, our guide will brief you about the trekking.

Picked up

On the day of the trek, you will be picked up at your hotel to the entrance gate to register yourself.

Start walking

Start walking for about 3 hours to the campsite. Along the way up, you can see the incredible expanses of rice fields, Mount Rinjani, and Sembalun Valley. Plus the wonderful aernoon sunset form the campsite.

See the sunrise

On the next day, you will wake up at 5:00am to see the sunrise at the Pergasingan Hill summit.

Walk back

Walk back to the campsite to enjoy breakfast and prepare to return to Sembalun Village.

Next destination

Our driver will be waiting for you and will drive you to your next destination in Lombok.

The hike to the campsite was gentle enough for beginners, but still gave us amazing views all the way. We passed rice fields and could see Mount Rinjani standing tall in the distance. At camp, the sunset painted the entire valley in gold—it was breathtaking. Waking up at 5am for the sunrise was the perfect finale.

What I loved most was how varied the scenery was. Sometimes you’re in open fields with endless sky, then you’re in shaded forest trails. The campsite was spacious and felt safe, and the evening was spent sharing stories while watching the sun set behind the hills.

Our guide kept the pace relaxed, so we had time to take photos and enjoy the landscape. Dinner was served hot and fresh, which felt like such a treat after walking. The sunrise view from the summit was clear and stunning—you could see the entire Sembalun Valley.
